About JAM Activity Camps
JAM Activity Camps is dedicated to establishing a secure and captivating environment for the children and young people (CYP) residing in Redbridge, Barking & Dagenham, and the surrounding areas. Our primary focus is on skill development, utilising premier facilities, and providing expert coaching. Simultaneously, we strive to support working parents by offering an affordable childcare option during school holidays. Our commitment lies in fostering a positive and enriching experience for the young members of our community.

Age Groups
​
Our activities will be split into 3 age groups.
​
Jets: Age 5 -6 years
​
"Jets" often refers to fast, high-powered aircraft. In a camp setting, it symbolises speed, agility, and high energy. These children are dynamic, energetic and enthusiastic.
​
Aces: Age 7-9 years
​
Aces" typically refers to individuals who are extremely skilled or proficient in a particular area, often used in the context of sports or games. In sports like tennis or cards, an "ace" is a top player or a high-value play. In a camp setting, naming a group "Aces" could imply that they are skilled, talented, or just a step above in some way. It's a positive, upbeat name that suggests excellence and high achievement.

Mavericks: Age 10-11 years
"Mavericks" refers to individuals who are independent-minded and unorthodox, often pioneers or innovators in their field. In a sports camp context it could symbolises a spirit of independence, creativity, and a willingness to think and act differently. It's a name that suggests boldness and leadership, being able to take initiative and think outside the box.
Our Story
In 2023, JAM Activity Camps emerged with a vision fueled by friendship and a shared commitment to providing accessible childcare. Jenene, Antonia and Michael, friends and colleagues for over two decades, were inspired by the need for affordable childcare in their local areas, particularly for their own children.

Pooling together their extensive qualifications, skills, and experiences, they embarked on a mission to address the gap in the market. JAM Activity Camps, anchored in a unique fusion of sports and top-notch facilities, aims to make a meaningful impact in the local community. With a dedicated team of qualified teachers and coaches steering the way, we aspire to create an environment where our children not only thrive but also have a fantastic time.

Situated at Mayfield Leisure Centre, our exceptional facilities enable us to offer a diverse range of sports, including football, dance, swimming, badminton, basketball, netball, handball, table tennis, tennis, athletics, cricket, softball, rounders, curling and multi-games.
​
But that's not all. We go above and beyond with additional activities:

- Early Risers with optional breakfast starting from 8am
- Football academy 10am-2pm- children can join the multi-sports out of football hours at no extra cost
- Netball academy 10am-2pm, boys and girls will recieve expert coaching from London Giants (club of the year)
- Special event days
